What exactly is a QR Code and how does it work?
▼
A QR code is basically a 2D barcode your phone's camera can read in a blink. Point your camera at one, and it takes you wherever that code is pointing — a website, your WhatsApp, a Google Maps location, or even a WiFi password. We generate them client-side (in your browser), so your data never even hits our servers for basic QR codes.
Can I use these QR codes for my shop or business?
▼
Absolutely — that's why we built this. All QR codes you generate here are yours to use however you like, commercially or personally. Print them on menus, packaging, banners, business cards, visiting cards, flex boards — wherever. Free accounts get up to 3 saved QR codes; premium accounts get unlimited.
What's the real difference between Static and Dynamic QR codes?
▼
A static QR code bakes your link directly into the code — once printed, it's locked. A dynamic QR code uses a short redirect link. So if you need to change where it goes (say, your menu changed or you're running a new offer), you just update the destination in your dashboard and the same printed QR code works for the new link. Dynamic codes also show you scan data like when, where, and which device.
Do the QR codes have watermarks or any branding on them?
▼
Not a single pixel. Every QR code you download from here is clean and print-ready. No QRCraft logo, no watermark, no hidden catch. Premium plans add extra customization options, but free downloads are genuinely watermark-free.
Will these QR codes ever expire?
▼
Free static QR codes work forever — there's no expiry because the link is baked right in. Dynamic QR codes on active premium plans also work without interruption. If a premium subscription lapses, the dynamic redirect pauses until renewed, but your scan history stays intact.
How do I actually track who scanned my QR code?
▼
Create a free account, make a Dynamic QR code, and every scan gets logged in your dashboard — device type, browser, approximate city, and timestamp. It's surprisingly useful for figuring out whether your flyer campaign or your Instagram post drove more traffic.
Is QRCraft Pro actually made in India?
▼
Yes — we're built by GR Technology Pvt Ltd, an Indian company. UPI payment support, INR pricing, and Indian use cases are things we think about from day one, not afterthoughts. Support is also India-timezone friendly.
